National Family Caregivers Month

National Family Caregivers Month — celebrated each November — is a time to recognize and honor family caregivers across the country. Celebrating Family Caregivers during NFC month enables all of us to raise awareness of family caregiver issues, celebrate the efforts of family caregivers, educate family caregivers about self-identification, and increase support for family caregivers.

National Epilepsy Awareness Month

According to the World Health Organization, epilepsy is the most common serious brain disorder worldwide with no age, racial, social class, national or geographic boundaries. It is the underlying tendency of the brain to produce seizures which are sudden abnormal bursts of electrical energy that disrupt brain functions.

National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month

Worldwide, 50 million people are living with Alzheimer's and other dementias. Join the Alzheimer's Association in going purple and raising awareness this June. The more people know about Alzheimer's, the more action we inspire.
